I’ll admit, there is a huge amount of buzz and hype surrounding the field, but behind this hype hides an incredibly important and valuable business resource.
‘The cloud is the future’. ‘The cloud is revolutionary’. ‘The cloud will transform how you do business’. There’s almost no way you’ve escaped hearing at least one of these sentiments, or something like them, over the past few years, and with good reason.

As an IT company at the forefront of new cloud technologies, we know more than most the impact the sprawling dominance of the internet has had on traditional businesses across all sectors, and particularly those media firms competing directly with new cloud-based startups.

Cloud technologies have no doubt shifted the IT landscape in the past few years. Increased agility, diminished project timelines and abandoning the need to pour the majority of the budget on upfront capital costs has had IT professionals salivating across the globe. It seems however, those who were so eager to embrace the benefits of these emerging technologies were just as quick to abandon various risk precautions they had grown up with.
